The seat with the anatomically shaped curves consists of a large, solid piece of wood and is supported by the three chair legs. The T-connection between the legs contributes to the stability. Due to the naturally different wood grain, each chair is unique and brings Nordic aesthetics to the dining room or living room.After the first production of the chair in 1936, the Holzdrechsler Werner family tweaked the shape of the Shoemaker chair over three generations, improved the design and production and made the chair what it is today: a true, archetypal classic. To this day, each one is produced in the family's own wood turnery, Gislev Drejerforretning, on the Danish island of Funen.

The name AVIO means married in Finnish and as such, it goes so well with this series. This is because, with a simple connection, two halves make a whole. The rounded shapes and the symmetrical form harmonise with a narrow gap and result in a simple, but by no means boring furniture series designed by the Japanese designer Kazushige Miyake. The tables are made of FSC certified wood and are available in a natural and black stained colour. Care instructions: For cleaning, wipe the table with a damp cloth, dry it and let it air dry for a further period.
