"Give me a lamp that looks good in a New York loft - with these words I started working on the Mobil series for Pholc." - Monika Mulder. I thought of the typical New York balcony stands made of black metal and the round street lamps on the Brooklyn Bridge. These ingredients were used to create a pendant lamp in which 4 identical parts are connected to each other. By turning the individual parts, it looks like a mobile. The wall lamps and the table lamp from the same collection are minimalist.

ROMB was created when Broberg & Ridderstråle experimented with a corrugated cardboard that they often use when modelling and developing architectural projects. The shape, a rhombus, quickly emerged and split into two forms; one larger than the other, casting an interesting direct light upwards but also indirectly downwards across the base of the shape. The work is well suited to narrow spaces such as bookshelves or windowsills and has a strong sculptural presence whether it is lit or not.
