Tomer Nachshon is an Israeli architect and designer and currently the leading founder of the studio in Haifa. Tomer founded the studio in his family's workshop, right after graduating from university. While growing up, he picked up the love and understanding of materials and techniques there, which he now applies to the various products.

The combination of architectural knowledge and physical work allows for constant iterations between different scales and perspectives. Participating in the whole process creates a strong connection to the materials we use and the actual piece - and thus an understanding that goes beyond the sketchbook alone.

Gad Nachshon,

Tomer's father, was born into a family of 17 children in the house that later became the business workshop. Gad established a business for sound and light systems, where he made speaker cabinets, various sound accessories and much more. In his spare time, he also built furniture for his own household. For Tomer, Gad is the inspiration to start his own studio - a business that includes the design and manufacture of versatile local products.

Herman

has worked with Tomer's family for almost three decades. He started as an electrical engineer for Gad's company and learned the basic woodwork our team needs for speaker cabinets. Today, Herman is able to provide all of our woodworking needs for various pieces of furniture. In addition, when Tomer started the studio, he discovered that he had previously worked in a fashion shop in Latvia and learned about

Valdimir

Metalworking, analogue machining, turning and welding of all kinds are the realm of Vladimir (Vova), who has worked in the family for most of the last 20 years. Learning basic machining at school, learning from his father, who is a machinist by trade, and self-educating himself while never giving up on his task, make Vladimir the great craftsman he is.

Adva

is the head of the studio. She is an architect and was formerly a news producer at Israel's largest broadcaster, Galei-Tzahal. She has the perfect combination of management and direction, as well as a deep understanding of the world of design. Adva participates in every decision in the life of the studio, from the design aspects, to understanding product and design prioritisation, to managing the day-to-day life of the workshop.

Nachshon's goal is to design aesthetic and precise furniture, implementing their understanding of materials, technology and the needs of people.
