Metaphys has made it its mission to return nature, manufacturing and the flow of things to their roots. As a result, the design often appears simple as well as unusual and experimental at the same time. The Lucano ladder is much too beautiful to stow away in a dark corner, nevertheless, the practical folding function allows to fold the stepladder comfortably and space-saving. With its aluminium frame, the Lucano stepladder is particularly stable and at the same time extremely elegant.

The LUCANO 2 STEP stool by Metaphys was created in the search for a contemporary design for a well-known object. Thanks to its new design, LUCANO 2 STEP harmonises perfectly with contemporary interiors and fits unobtrusively into modern designs.This is possible because the stool itself is very restrained and limited to the essentials. Metaphys sees the stool as a kind of tool. Accordingly, it should be unobtrusive. The shapes of LUCANO 2 STEP are dominated by triangular lines. These have also been kept to a minimum so that the stool looks particularly slim and accurate and at the same time sends out only a minimum of visual information.
