Asian ceramic objects for storage serve as inspiration for Osaka, a series of sculptural and pretty bowls to adorn any table. The simplified hemisphere is lifted from the ground by three walls, as if merging the perfect round and square shape into one object. The brutalistic and heavy appearance of the Osaka bowls is underlined by the fact that they are cast from solid fibre concrete. The finely textured surface is glazed by hand, and as it is a natural product, the colours may vary slightly. The bowl is not 100% waterproof. Designed by Nicolaj Nøddesbo & Tommy Hyldahl.

Der quadratische Tisch Cabin für acht Personen hat eine Tischplatte aus Kalkstein, der in Burgund, Frankreich, gewonnen wurde. Der hellgraue Stein mit Brauntönen hat eine charakteristische Oberfläche, bei der eine sanfte Bürsttechnik die natürliche Struktur des harten Steins bewahrt. Die schwere Steinplatte wird von zwei parallelen Beinen aus dunkler, massiver Eiche getragen, die mit vertikalen Rillen versehen sind. Der visuelle Ausdruck von Marmor und Kalkstein erzählt die Geschichte von Jahrmillionen natürlicher Verarbeitung.
