The Babaru bowl balances on a small bubble and is a sculptural variation of a traditional Japanese bowl. Baburu, the Japanese name for bubble, is available in three different sizes and can be used for storage as well as a stand-alone art object to enhance a room.

The series is made of ceramic, as it is a hand-glazed natural product. The colours may vary slightly and although it is not 100% waterproof, a bag for fresh flowers is included.

The simplified hemisphere is lifted from the ground by three walls, as if merging the perfect round and square shape into one object. The brutalistic and heavy appearance of the Osaka bowls is underlined by the fact that they are cast from solid fibre concrete.
