The LUCANO 2 STEP stool by Metaphys was created in the search for a contemporary design for a well-known object. Thanks to its new design, LUCANO 2 STEP harmonises perfectly with contemporary interiors and fits unobtrusively into modern designs.
This is possible because the stool itself is very restrained and limited to the essentials. Metaphys sees the stool as a kind of tool. Accordingly, it should be unobtrusive. The shapes of LUCANO 2 STEP are dominated by triangular lines. These have also been kept to a minimum so that the stool looks particularly slender and accurate and at the same time sends out only a minimum of visual information.
